NexxView

Do you have quick and easy access to information about the lifecycle of each customer’s order (i.e., when it was created, picked, packed, shipped, and delivered) without contacting multiple departments or inquiring from multiple business systems? NexxView gets customer service, transportation, and logistics personnel the information they need to resolve issues and answer questions quickly and effectively.

NexxView™ wraps a 360° Visibility layer around all of your logistics information and processes.  This Visibility layer allows you to specify what each user can see, in the exact form and context they need. Key business benefits include:

  • A unified View of the life cycle of each inbound/outbound shipment.
  • Aggregate information from different applications, multiple carriers, customers, suppliers, etc.
  • One glance to View order, picking, packing, shipping, delivery, and billing information.
  • Alert traffic and logistics personnel to key delivery events and exceptions as they occur.
  • Overcome departmental, operational, and geographical boundaries so your business can
present one face to the customer.
  • Leverage existing technology by opening up access to legacy systems.
  • Alignment with today’s and tomorrow’s technology direction; XML, Web Services, & SOA.
  • Integrating with your current shipping solutions

What Does NexxView Do?

From the time a customer’s order is created until the time it is delivered, your logistics processes generate a lot of data.  This information generally comes from multiple business systems, both inside and outside your enterprise, and exists in multiple forms (phone calls, emails, faxes, web interfaces, carrier web sites, and databases from OMS, ERP, WMS, and shipping systems).

NexxView helps you collect this data without investing in extensive integration services.  It then aggregates the information and places it in a central data repository, where it is monitored for key shipping and delivery events and exceptions as your goods move through the supply chain.  When important events or exceptions occur, NexxView alerts the people most capable of resolving issues and/or can automatically push relevant information to front-line business operations (and enterprise applications) so resolving issues is quick, effective, and accomplished in a single process.

NexxView allows you to orchestrate how this information is presented to individual users based on how they need to use it and security levels.  For example, the traffic department may only want to see shipping and tracking information, while customer service may want to look at the original order, and what was packed, shipped, and delivered.  Finance, on the other hand, may want to see transportation costs by each order or annual costs by customer, carrier, etc. NexxView provides a role-based, unified View of your logistics data from the time an order is created, through the fulfillment and delivery processes, all the way until you receive a freight invoice from your carriers.

What Can NexxView Show You?

There is no limit to the visibility NexxView can extend to your enterprise. You define the Views.  Since logistics touches virtually every operating activity of your business, common Views caninclude:

  • Sales order detail linked to shipping detail.
  • Contents of each box shipped by Customer Number, Sales Order Number, Purchase Order, Tracking Number, etc.
  • Proactive alerts of key delivery events (such as Proof of Deliveries).
  • Proactive alerts of exceptions like:
  • Late deliveries.
  • Rescheduled delivery dates.
  • Lost or damaged packages.
  • Returned packages.
  • Delivery and billing data from carriers; linked to customer purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, etc.
