Nexxio’s TMS planning and execution solution manages the full cycle of activities for the latest practices in transportation management. Our TMS (Transportation Management System) ensures optimal freight moves by utilizing the right mode with the right carrier and at the right service level to meet both your needs and those of your customers. Whether using parcel, less than truckload (LTL), truckload, rail, intermodal, air freight, or ocean, Nexxio’s TMS provides a single system and consistent customizableprocesses for carrier determination and execution. Once Nexxio’s TMS receives orders and/or shipping requests (electronically or manually) from your ERP or WMS system, it will automatically select the optimal carriers and modes for the shipments, tracks and monitors their movement, report exceptions, audit and pay carriers, and provide extensive reporting capabilities. Manage and Procure Carriers

Nexxio’s TMS  helps you manage the complexities of multiple carrier contracts, rates, accessorial charges, fuel determination, and service areas, and does this across all modes. In addition, our TMS system will procure capacities and rates for all carriers. It supports any LTL rate base, including common carriers, custom rate bases, and point-to-point, etc.; small parcel tariffs including DHL, UPS, and FedEx multiple rating tariffs, and all mileage engines and versions.

Ship Frieght

Nexxio’s TMS executes both inbound and outbound, domestics and international movements, across all modes. It can determine the optimal carrier based upon service, rate, and/or routing guide. The Route Optimizer allows, for example, to compare multi-stop truckload to pool locations (cross dock for consolidation and distribution) to continuous moves with multiple pickups and drop-offs. Nexxio’s TMS also tenders loads to the selected carriers (via EDI, XML, or Web Service) and sets and schedules appointments via dock door scheduling.

Transportation Reporting

Nexxio’s TMS provides multiple layers of transportation intelligence including operational, tactical, and strategic reporting. Examples of standard reports include exception, audit, transportation spend (by location, division, etc.), dispatcher and carrier KPIs, lane and capacity analysis, and what if scenarios.

Integration

Nexxio's TMS  solution has been integrated with any number of order management, ERP, WMS, and supply chain systems. Our TMS accepts and transmits electronic data in both standard and custom formats, including:
